Abstract

Studying the importance of entrepreneurship in the development of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scientists in most cases consider it correct to increase their competitiveness, innovative activity and social significance in society. The stable development of many modern leading countries is directly related to this sector of the economy, their number is 70-99% of the total number of enterprises, 65-75% of gross domestic product. Currently, the development of small and medium-sized businesses is being actively discussed, since they are a fundamental and necessary element of the country’s socio-economic development system. In the article, the author, based on statistical data from the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, and literary sources, outlined a number of important tasks for the further development of small and medium-sized businesses.
